I’m probably the last one to post this

Sara Polverini. A gazillion blogs posted the same two things about Sara - that she was once part of Ang TV, and that she starred in Sara, Ang Munting Prinsesa, alongside Camille Prats and Angelica Panganiban. But “differentiate me,” (ibahin mo ‘ko), for I will tell you that Sara, last year, sold and promoted car parts at the Trans Sport Show in SM Megamall.

In fact, a lot of now-famous babes used to be just promo girls at car shows. At the top of my head - Regine Angeles and Cherry Ann Kubota. You can usually talk to them and say whatever your heart (or your libido) desires, for they are paid to be nice to wankers.

Anyway, yup, that’s my big Sara Polverini selling point.

So, for all you Ornusa fans out there… or those who go for the sleek and slender, Pathra definitely fits the bill. What else? She’s a model (really now), she was featured in MEGA magazine’s Women To Watch in 2009 issue (which lists her age as 19), and is the November girl of Maxim’s 2009 calendar.

Miranda Kerr Filipino?

Victoria’s Secret Angel, Miranda Kerr has some Filipino blood. How much? I don’t know, and truthfully, it doesn’t really matter (for now at least). We’ve come to a place in time where Filipinos are everywhere, so, unless Miranda says (or knows) something about being a Filipino, and is proud, ala Vanessa Hudgens, or acutally goes here, then she can represent. Yabang Pinoy ba?

Then again, I always bitch about not having Asian VS Angels… and, my heart still belongs to Doutzen Kroes. By the way, Miranda is dating Fafa Orly.

For February, FHM’s bringing back the old school - Viva Hot Babes style. This issue, entitled, “Tutti Fruity,” features Katya Santos, Maui Taylor and Andrea del Rosario. I like the katas ng prutas theme but there are around 6 body-only shots here which are kind of wasteful - I don’t want to have to check which fruit goes with whom.

Belated Happy Valentine’s to all the bebots

Been catching up on the latest bebot news all over the “interwebz” when I stumbled upon this really cutesy girl named Carla Abellana. So get this - Carla has been chosen to play Rosalinda for GMA (I don’t know when). Kind of like when Marian, who back then also came from nowhere, was chosen for Marimar. And, most Carla Abellana blog posts exaggerate the same thing - how she looks like Marian.

But, here’s why I already like Carla more than Marian (I don’t mind if she surpasses Marian’s fame). She’s a cum laude graduate of DLSU.

I mean, Marian… Have you seen her latest commercial? The one where the script asks her to say “peeling” (as in Maxi Peel) instead of “feeling?” It ended up sounding like it was how she would’ve said the line naturally, and, for a minute there you’re like, “whoa!” Speech coach, please.

Why I still bash (and like it) Marian? Because this Marian-scarred me for life. And to top it off, this came along!

So, might as well have the youth idolize someone with class right? To put the J-Logs dilemna to rest once and for all.
