Bianca King UNO September 2007

Saturday, September 22nd, 2007

Finally

First of all, I did not know UNO issues are released mid-end of the month. I waited for this (issue) ever since the start of September, and, I kept coming back to the magazine stands to check if the coveted Bianca King issue is already out. Finally, I was able to grab one on the 20th.

Issue review

This Bianca King issue is UNO Magazine’s 40th issue. It sells for Php 120, has 96 pages of UNO goodness, and also features (apart from Bianca) director Carlo Ledesma, UNO/San Mig Light feature Abby Tereza, and UNO Girl Vanessa Andres among others.

Bianca King

I am sure glad I already knew what to expect from Bianca King’s feature or I would have been gravely disappointed - see Bianca King for UNO September cover. This is definitely not a “sexy” shoot but an artsy one. Still, classic Bianca King hotness along the pages. The photos are very well thought of and conceptualized I have to add - taken by Mark Nicdao of Wildbunch. I am no artsy fart but I do appreciate what they’ve done in this shoot.

I’m still quite surprised at how much I dig this issue granted the “lack of skin.” Expecting something different from the very beginning might have been the key. Or, I guess I just appreciate Bianca King in whatever she does. Oh, well. Quite noticeable though is how balbon her arms are on the cover - there, I just had to say it.

Magazines of September, disclaimer and final thoughts

I’m starting to think FHM is already in a league of it’s own. Which is probably why UNO releases it’s issues on a later date - after FHM madness cools down a bit. This month, FHM’s Michelle Madrigal issue is the bomb, UNO’s Bianca King is well worth the wait, and Maxim’s, well, I lost interest in the Francine Prieto issue.

Low and behold, the images from this site are property of the respective publication, and are provided for educational purposes only. We will gladly take them down without question upon receipt of complaints from respective owners. This is getting really redundant - click on the image below to view the scans, enjoy.

Heart Evangelista in person

And Jericho Rosales

Last Sunday we saw Heart Evangelista and Jericho Rosales. I believe it was my sister who said “Hey, that’s Heart and Echo!” We were just on our way to San Beda Alabang when we saw this really good looking couple; they were going towards their car, they just came from New Life Christian Church - I don’t know what kind of religion they’re in but I can attest to the fact that Heart used to go to the same Catholic church we hear mass in.

Heart Evangelista

Yes, in fact, there is nothing special in seeing Heart Evangelista for us Southerners (South of Manila). I remember eating beside her over at CPK (divided of course by a short glass window); back then she was not that big-a-star. I remember she always had the company of her whole family - it looked like as if they had the usual Sunday evening mass-dinner routine.

Seeing Heart was still, and is still, - a spectacle for me. I just can’t help but marvel at her very pretty and petite face. Her face is really small by the way, although not freakishly small. I’ve never seen her without makeup, but I can easily tell (even bet on it) that she is just as smooth and attractive without (makeup). I like Heart’s face, I just don’t like the fact that her classy chinita look was made mainstream. I remember being told (by a companion, maybe a family member, while looking at her) that she had big hips. And that she had a very straight figure. Honestly, I didn’t notice. For me, there simply isn’t enough time to stop looking at her face and start noticing other things.

Mika Lagdameo in person

Business as usual

Oh, I just saw my dream girl. First, let me introduce a new series of posts for this blog which we’ll call the “In person” series. The “In person” series is a detailed, in-depth report on babes that I see in person. Be it in any way possible, with or without engaging in conversation, with or without pictures. Just my thoughts - how she looks like, where I saw her, what she was doing, etc. I first started doing this in my personal blog, it is what I’ve always imagined doing in a babe blog but unfortunately, I haven’t seen any celebrity babes since I started this blog, until now.

First, let me show you my past “In person” posts from my other blog. I’ll just link them from here since it would be redundant to re-post them. I have seen and reported on Lougee Basabas, Jaymee Joaquin, Bianca King, Yasmien Kurdi, Jennylyn Mercado, Kristine Hermosa and Kelly Misa.

Mika Lagdameo

For those unfamiliar with Mika, here is her short profile on Bembang! Girls. She is one of our top models and has endorsed products such as Kotex, Lifebuoy, Globe, Panasonic and Rexona. She has also appeared in some magazine covers such as Mobile Philippines.

I saw her at the Alabang Town Center yesterday, September 14, around 1:30 p.m. She was checking out some skin products on the stall in front of BAYO. It was near the entrance, I was just on my way inside the mall when this really, really beautiful babe caught my attention. I kept on walking away from her but I kept looking back. I just looked and looked, and looked.

I never really realized it was her when I first caught a glimpse. In fact, I didn’t really remember her name until I went home and searched for her online. I knew where to look, I knew that she was in the cover of Mobile Philippines, I knew who she was, her name just somehow escaped my brain.

She is just really, really beautiful (to my taste). I’ll make this post biased since this is a personal opinion anyway. Morena, brown-skinned and smooth. Her face (skin-wise), I guess I would have to say, is not 100% flawless (no make-up). From where I was standing I would have easily estimated her to be 5′5″ - 5′6″ tall. She is listed at 5′7″ though. She was wearing one of those headbands - stretchy and about 4 inches thick, and a sleeveless shirt. To my personal taste, she fulfills everything (physical). She has this look that I really, really dig. Kind of like chinita/morena. I don’t really see that in her photos, and I was really surprised I liked her this much in person. Man, this is one “In person” I really enjoyed, wouldn’t mind seeing her again soon.

Francine Prieto for Maxim September 2007

Sorry, no scans here

Two magazines I’m excited about this month - FHM’s Michelle Madrigal issue and UNO’s Bianca King issue. I am still waiting for UNO’s release. I had no news about Maxim’s September cover until I bought my September FHM. Francine Prieto. Why? And, to quote my companion at that time, “She looks like a prostitute,” talking about her cover photo. The spread starts from her cleavage upward - it (cleavage) occupies half of the cover. I’m trying to look for an online copy, so you’d understand what I’m talking about, but Maxim’s site is down for some reason.

Then I remember why I was not looking forward to Maxim’s September issue. It has been rumored that Saicy Aguila will grace the September cover, sorry but I’m not familiar with her, I only know she’s a dancer. I guess for me Francine is a bit old news. Nothing really exciting now that we’ve already seen her everywhere before. She’s hot don’t get me wrong, but there’s just no buzz surrounding this issue. I’m not planning to buy the magazine but if you want to share the scans just send them over.

Michelle Madrigal FHM September 2007

Saturday, September 1st, 2007

Just when all the attention seem to fall on her older sister, Ehra Madrigal, Michelle, originally from Star Circle Quest Reload, surprises us with an FHM feature. It is now also exactly a year when Ehra did the cover for FHM. This issue has been out since August 30; from where I bought it, they only had one stock left. It (magazine) has a whopping 176 pages, and also features Maureen Larrazabal’s youger sister, Raine Larrazabal, hot housewife Paloma, another one-named babe named Nicole who also happens to be the vocalist for a band called Crowjane (I have to see that band), and Hi-C of Dice & K9 - Itsumo fame (she has been featured before).

Michelle Madrigal

She looks nothing like the Michelle Madrigal we’ve accustomed to in this pictorial. It might be the make-up (done by Mickey See) or her new hair style. With that out of the way, there are 10 photos of Michelle Madrigal goodness in this issue (excluding cover), I scanned 8. She is damn sexy though, tight, lovely tanish skin tone, gorgeous curves, and it really seems as though there is no photo manipulation here, at least not on her curves. She goes as far out as wearing a regular two-piece string bikini. In the interview she reveals that Ehra is quiet, she is noisy; her answers are almost entirely in Filipino.

A short In Person post

I remember seeing Michelle in Boracay last year. It was already around 12:00 a.m. when we saw her, she was wearing jogging pants and a top from a two-piece swim suit, she had a drink in her hand and was just outside this bar that had an event. I remember she was really dark, but add the fact that she has already been baked from the sun. She had a lot of appeal I might add, even though celebrities are like nothing special in Boracay. She tops my happy-to-see-you-in-person list, Boracay 2006, second only of course to Bianca King (in bikinis).
