Well, they seem to be the current “in” couple, except, they’re not a couple yet. Or so, they say. Lovi Poe, daughter of the late, great actor and would-be President, Fernando Poe Jr., is being courted by the son of Senator slash actor Bong Revilla, Jolo Revilla. Jolo, now 18 years of age, is considered “the Philippines’ youngest showbiz father,” after he knocked-up Rosanna Roces’ daughter, Grace, when he was only 16 years old. Even worse, Grace was only 14 back then.
Anyway, I see these cheesy features of them, on-screen, saying their petty promises to each other. Lovi is wary of the Jolo-being-a-dad issue, so Jolo comforts her by assuring that he is not a womanizer. You know, I believe him when he says that. Because he is too young to be labeled anything yet. And, one love-child is not enough. He may not be a womanizer now, but he will be.
Let the kids be kids. For the lovely Lovi, having a boyfriend is part of life, and, I’m pretty sure she’s not going to end up (married) with Jolo anyway, unless of course she gets knocked-up as well, so I hope she’ll be careful. She’s yet to make a ton of fans and future admirers happy.
