Bebot, Bebot!

Boy, that was long. The best best holidays-setup ever. Anyway, I’m just posting this to remind you that there still is a blogger behind this blog, and I’m not going ningas-kugon on you guys again, nor will I take one of my signature unnanounced blogging sabbaticals. Bebot, Bebot! is here to stay. So a belated merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all! Hope your holidays rocked.

But then again, this post is not bebot-related so after this comes the real “regular programming.” Over the weekend I’ll work on ghost-posting Jewel Mische’s December UNO feature. Stick with us this 2009! Please.

Finally an update; here’s what’s cooking - the Bebot, Bebot! Forum. We now have a fully-functional forum for registered members in addition to our gallery. All previous registered members of the gallery can now log-in, with the same credentials, through the forum. Also to avoid confusion, all new registrations will be done through the forum as well. By registering, you can post and reply to topics, and create a user gallery.

The forum-gallery bridge has been tested but if problems persist, you may contact me directly through mark.verzo[@]gmail[dot]com. We are using the SMF (Simple Machines Forum) software.

Apologies for not being able to update our blog the past couple of days, been busy sorting things out at the gallery. Anyway, I’ve come up with a basic set of rules and groups to make things easier for registered members to understand. By the way, this blog area may not be updated daily, but rest assured, there will always be something new at the gallery. Below are the basic access restrictions.

Non-members

Non-members can view all photos without restriction, except for user albums that have been marked private. Non-members can not post comments or rate pictures.

Registered members 

Registered members can create user galleries and albums, and can upload photos, but uploads will be moderated - usually within 12 hours. Registered members can post comments, rate files, and view private albums by other registered members.

Super uploaders

Once a registered member uploads 10 or more legal photos, status will be updated to super uploader. Super uploaders’ uploads are automatically posted without moderation. After uploading your first 10 files, your status will be updated automatically.

Moderators

Gallery police. Can delete and ban pasaway members. Interested? Announcements will be made if moderator positions are available.

Palos, that upcoming action teleserye by ABS-CBN, starring Cesar Montano and Jake Cuenca, has, in my opinion, the grandest collection of lovely bebots in all current or upcoming local shows to date. Both quality and quantity; or should I say quality in quantity? Get ready for these: Roxanne Guinoo as Ana, the now more daring Carla Humphries as Stella, Regine Angeles (ooh! Be Bench girl) as Paola, Wendy Valdez, Jodi Sta. Maria-Lacson, Sunshine Cruz, Desiree del Valle, and Valerie “Bangs” Garcia (yeah!). Man, are we gonna watch this or what!? Watch out for it in February. Gallery links for each bebot to follow.

Gallery rules

People, I hate to say this but Bebot, Bebot! is not the second coming of Boy Bastos. Our gallery, therefore, will be moderated. This is not the right time to put up another adult site. But, I assure you, that time will come. Bebot, Bebot! is all about, well, bebots. A sort of tribute to beautiful Filipinas, known or otherwise, with the occasional feature on international celebrities. I know, I know, you must be thinking by now that this site is a waste of your time. If that’s how you feel then I guess we would have to part ways here. However, women, babes, girls, bebots, need not be nude for us to appreciate their beauty.

In line with this, we need to moderate uploads in the gallery. This is most probably why your upload/s have not been posted by now. I can’t tell you directly which uploads will be approved. Sexy and revealing sure, but there’s a limit. As a general rule or “litmus test”, ask yourself this before you upload something - Will I be comfortable viewing these pictures in front of my parents? If yes, then your files will be posted.

User galleries

Our gallery is now open for registration. By registering, you get 10 megabytes of free space for your own personal gallery. All images can be viewed by non-registered members. Registered members also get to post comments on other galleries and rate files. The gallery portion is moderated. Please be advised that the administrators have the right to delete files and comments that are inappropriate, at any given time. We hope to see activity in the gallery as soon as possible. Also, please be reminded that it is advisable  to name your files and description wisely so the search function will find your files. Enjoy and upload wisely. Click here to register.

And, I’m sure you’ve encountered this by now. I think it’s for Yahoo! Music. In the video she admits that Umbrella is currently one of her favorite songs and even goes as far as saying that “…there’s no denying how melodic the song is.” On the other hand, I have been recently encountering more and more people annoyed by Rihanna’s Umbrella. I’m not that big a fan of RnB but I like the song. It’s the radio stations and music channels murdering the song. These people annoyed by Umbrella claim they now like the song because of Mandy Moore’s rendition. Come on, Mandy killed the crap out of that song. It (song) needs attitude and intensity, not emotion like in a love song. It looks stupid putting that much emotion to a song about an umbrella (I know it’s figurative). But, this is a babe blog so who cares? And we all like Rihanna and Mandy Moore anyway, now that’s what matters.

This post is in reference to my I heart Tina Fey post, where I subtly mentioned I would post a separate entry dedicated to Tina’s scar with the hopes of landing some searches.

Here’s one photo that clearly shows her scar. Here’s another one, and here’s another one. Before I searched for Tina Fey on the internet, I was not aware of her famous scar. Either they do a good job concealing it or our television is just blurred. However, it did not affect my admiration for Tina the slightest bit; if not, I find her all the more sexy that she’s that comfortable in her own skin.

Her scar runs from the bottom of her left ear up to a quarter of her lower lip like a head microphone. I searched deep and wide to find any information about her scar but unfortunately, how she acquired it might forever remain a mystery. Google answers claims that there is a site dedicated to her scar but it’s been down ever since. Then there are a bunch of humored-up answers on some of her interviews - from a dogbite, a car accident, a phaser and even from “saving lives in the war of 1812.” But, the only “real” quote that Tina has ever said about her scar is “It’s a childhood injury that was kind of grim,” she said. “And it kind of bums my parents out for me to talk about it.”

10 - Iwa Moto

Could have easily been my number one. But I guess she still needs to attain a certain level of nationwide popularity before she can be number one - like a hit sexy movie, a calendar or more good or even bad publicity.

9 - Anne Curtis

Pretty low considering considering the next babe after her in the list - Jennylyn Mercado. Anne has morphed from sweetheart to sex icon smoothly. She might not do sexy films but she has a sexy reputation. Including tons of beach pictures and that semi-scandal with Richard Gutierrez. Either love her or hate her, which is probably why she got number nine only.

8 - Jennylyn Mercado

I don’t understand why Jennylyn Mercado made it this high. She’s a sweetheart and not a sexy babe. She has not even appeared in any sexy pictorials. In fact, FHM does not have a single picture of her, her picture in the magazine is “borrowed.” Her high position speaks of her tons of supporters, which I guess is a feat on it’s own. I’ve met Jennylyn in an interview. I blogged about my Jennylyn Mercado experience in my personal blog.

7 - Diana Zubiri

We’ll probably see Diana Zubiri in the top ten for a couple more years. She might have “cooled” down in the Philippines but she’s an Asian phenomenon. She’s very well exposed and her fans are loyal.

6 - Bianca King

Oh, Bianca King. Here’s one babe that needs no sexy pictorials to be sexy. Her look and overall aura defines sexy. I also blogged a little about Bianca King in my personal blog.

5 - Ehra Madrigal

Probably a lot of people (just like me) owe it to FHM that they are aware of Ehra. She just sprung from nowhere and her first major exposure is as a sexy babe. Therefore, people will always see her as that (sexy). I like her look very much as well. I have the same sentiments for Ehra as with Iwa Moto.

4 - Angelica Panganiban

I can’t help but remember her before and after pictures from her Ginebra calendar pictorial. Whoever leaked that must alreay be in Angelica’s most wanted list. Imagine her trying to change her image from child star to mature only to be ruined by a couple of photos. But, I owe it to Angelica that I now know of Maria Ozawa. The resemblance is uncanny, therefore when I want to think of a sexy Angelica, I just go watch some Maria Ozawa.

3 - Angel Locsin

I remember a virtually unknown Angel appearing in the October 2003 cover of FHM. Kind of like what Ehra Madrigal did. Now, she’s almost like a Sharon Cuneta (fame-wise). The thing is, her FHM pictorials do not even bare much skin. She has appeared twice in the cover of FHM Philippines but still little skin exposed. She’s just a nationwide phenomenon; it’s admirable how she created a sexy image in a very tasteful, respectable manner.

Philippines’ sexiest - Katrina Halili

Sexy in an I-want-to-sex-you-up kind of way. Back-to-back sexiest in the Philippines. Almost like a Katrina Halili era. See previous post for more on Katrina Halili.

Global winner - Jessica Alba

I don’t know how this works, it seems as they compile the local votes (for each country) then add the global winner in the end. Well, Jessica Alba is Jessica Alba. To be voted by the world is something. Also see previous post entitled “Find me someone who thinks Jessica Alba is not hot.”
