Bebot, Bebot!

Paula Taylor is just so um, um, um… amazing? (Cliche!) I have to admit though, I’m one of those who fell hard for Ms. Taylor after her stint on Season 2 of The Amazing Race Asia. Seeing how she really is and acts in real life - grace under pressure, poised even on candids - just brings out something no pictorial, hosting or acting ever will.

A couple of trips down EDSA was all it took to inspire me to post this. She’s currently endorsing for Myra E and Plains & Prints, and, I really think she has been well received by the “locals.”

Even if I were Marc Nelson (are they together?) - you know, hunky and stuff (not that I’m not not at all!) - with the ability to get any girl I want, I’d still go for Paula Taylor. I think highly of her, you know, just one of those babes you don’t place in sexual scenarios and stuff.

TARA3 fans, did any of you notice her as the “welcome chick” on the Thailand (episode 1, I think) leg ?

Here’s a new theme - up-and-comers. My goal is to, at the end of the year, reward the bebot with the most successful transition from up-and-coming to celebrity. The award, we shall call, “The Ellen Adarna Award.” Kidding.

I first heard of Samuelle Pinto from our very own forum (thanks to vesta). Apparently, Samuelle is one of those being regularly “faked” on Friendster-type sites. Currently, Samuelle or “Sami” is already getting a decent amount of exposure in the 2008 MYX VJ Search, which is why I’m in a hurry to post this.

Samuelle Pinto is a model; she has done commercials for McDonald’s, Lewis & Pearl, Pepsi, Sunsilk, Nescafe, Jollibee, and Palmolive (Circle of Ten 2008), among others.

I don’t know if this Friendster account is real, it’s private, but you can however, view the photos. There are about 600 photos in there, of her, her and her friends, her and her boyfriend, etc.

If you want her to “break the scene,” then you should really start voting for her on the MYX VJ Search. You should go to MYX’s site to learn more about that.

This is as much as I know so maybe we could start another epic discussion here (comments). By the way, have I mentioned that she’s also quite a looker?

Me wanna watch…

I like Rihanna, I do. I want to watch but since my sole purpose is to see her up close - not to dance, not to “jam,” and since tickets are insanely over-priced, forget it. With a venue as big as Fort, you’ll end up watching on the big screens if buy anything other than the most expensive tickets. Oh, well.

This is a news bit, not a feature

Who here knows Anna Maria Perez de Tagle? Anna Maria is a Filipina, obviously, who stars as Ashley Dewitt in Disney’s Hannah Montana television series. Trust me, she’s worldwide. I know, I know, Disney is kid stuff, Disney is jail bait, etc., but the thing is, she was cast in the movie-remake version of the 1980’s musical, Fame.

Just a little something, as a Filipino, to be proud of. Anyway, The movie is set to be released by Lakeshore Entertainment, on September 25, 2009. She will play the character, “Joy.”

A short background on Anna Maria

Born on December 23, 1990 in San Francisco, California as Anna Maria Francesca Enriquez Perez de Tagle. She is the daughter of retired Philippine actor Archie Perez de Tagle and is the granddaughter of singer Sylvia La Torre. She is a fourth cousin of Enrique Iglesias.

Additionally, this post led me to discover the identity of another one of her cousins - this south (Alabang, Parañaque) chick whose green eyes are very tough not to notice, and, whom I previously only knew as “Sarita.” More on her on another post.

Introduction

Heroes Season 3 is now 4 episodes in, and yes, I used to write posts like these. Shows, movies, television series, etc. are just easier to watch if cast with bebots. Heroes, aside from being a cool show, has a diverse mix of bebots. Below in alphabetical order.

Ali Larter as Tracy Strauss

Spoiler alert. Yes, Ali Larter is now playing a new character. I like Ali Larter, I think she has heaps of sex appeal (sekswal!).

The quintessential blonde is one you can easily place in an imaginary porn flick. “Pang-porno ‘yung si Ali Larter,” which I believe I’ve said a number of times.

Brea Grant as Daphne Millbrook

I don’t really know what to make of Brea Grant. I guess she’s kinda cute. I don’t even know how she got the Heroes gig, but I think I need to see her in a different, more feminine role to be appreciate her bebot-ness.

Dania Ramirez as Maya Herrera

Dania is hot, I realized that when I watched not a Heroes episode, but a sort of presentation show where she was just being herself. I’m bugged by her characther “Maya.” Or should I say, “Ma-ja?”

Hayden Panettiere as Claire Bennet

Of course, Claire Bear. I know she’s cute and beautiful, and I can understand how she could be the favorite of most, she’s just not my type (who cares?). By the way, in real life she’s going out with that dude who plays Peter Petrelli, her uncle in the show, and 12 years her senior.

Jessalyn Gilsig as Meredith Gordon

Here’s proof that I discovered Jessalyn Gilsig before you did. That domain was the second domain I ever registered, way back in 2004. I discovered her on “Boston Public.” Unfortunately, her career didn’t pick up as much, and she’s getting old. I don’t mind though.

Kristen Bell as Elle Bishop

The only bebot who has an album prior to this post. Now I remember why I don’t like Brea Grant as much - she reminds me of a less attractive Kristen Bell. Kristen Bell is hot! More Kristen Bell please.

Closing remarks

I think that’s it. There’s only one hot mom so naturally, I left the other two - Mrs. Petrelli and Mrs. Bennet. There’s only one other bebot I can think of who has not made an appearance yet - the other Mrs. Petrelli - Nathan’s wife, played by Rena Sofer - the one with the tantalizing eyes.

Indeed it is, indeed it is. Check out Lea Salonga on the cover of Marie Claire Philippines’ October 2008 issue looking so hot, sophisticated and in-shape! Research tells me Lea is already 37 years old and has a 2-year-old daughter. Wait, 37 only? That’s right, with 30 years experience in the business. She was only 20 when she was cast in the Broadway musical, “Miss Saigon.”

Hey, I saw Lea once in a bank in Alabang. It must have already been a year now, but I remember seeing her and taking around 5 minutes to process who I was looking at. “Hey, that’s Lea Salonga!” She looked nothing like her cover picture below; she had no make-up, was really white and smooth, and baby-faced, but was a bit on the heavy side. Her aura commands a ton of respect and a dash of down-to-earth kindness. Classy, very classy - and that’s why you won’t see words like “MILF” in this post, oops!

That’s right. Although she’s just half - half-Filipina, half-Puerto Rican. And what do you get when you mix those two exotic cultures together? Pure sex, a girl for, nothing else. Sekswal. Kudos though, because Penthouse is the real deal, and no FHM Philippines or what-have-you local magazine feature could top this. Which is also why I can’t include her complete Penthouse photo-set in the gallery (hardcore nudity). But Penthouse is Penthouse, it’s worldwide. You could actually download PDF files of issues using only Google.

Anyway, Justene Ashley Jaro started out as an import (import cars) model, like Misa Campo, like everyone else, but considers modeling as a part-time gig only. She was born in Tacloban, Leyte on the 17th of November, 1983, and was raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She stands 5′5″ tall. I don’t know what her sentiments are on her Filipina-roots and I wouldn’t know either if she plans to waste time here in Manila. But I do believe she has a short feature on one of our current men’s magazines.

Here’s one for Playboy Philippines - that disgrace to the “Playboy” name. Anyway, on the cover is Amber Davis. I confess, although I’ve heard of her, I knew nothing of Amber before this entry. I would not even have thought for a moment she’s Pinay, if not for people submitting lyrics of her songs on my all-OPM lyrics site.

Turns out, Amber Davis is a Fil-Am enjoying some success here because of the following: she’s a MYX VJ (for MYX Global - ?), on her first album came the single “Back Into You,” and, a song which featured Norah Jones (that I have to hear), she wrote the songs “Manila” and “Kembot,” and, apparently, in 2007 she was RX 93.1’s “Artist of the Year.”

Either I’m clearly out of the loop or just a pop-culture snob. Anyway, she’s hot and that’s what matters. Although I have to say, for Fil-foreigners trying to break the sexy slash music scene, I’m loyal to Aliya Parcs. Click below.

I’ve had this “leaked” mock-up of Ellen’s upcoming-second coming UNO magazine cover feature since October 2, but I didn’t want to spill the beans yet since I could not confirm through any of UNO’s sites. But, after a quick visit to UNO’s Multiply site, I finally saw it posted. So, it’s confirmed guys; watch out for UNO’s October issue - which usually comes out on the last week - featuring a “topless” Ellen “Numero UNO” Adarna. Boy, has UNO owned Ellen now.

Yeah, well… From reports: EB Babes Mary Mae dela Cerna, Saida Diola and Rose Ann Boleche figured in a scuffle last night at a coffee shop in Greenhills, apparently after they cut a couple in line. Once again, I’m sure you’ve heard this all over the news so I’ll just compile some interesting quotes (of the EB Babes and the accused) from various sources.
